David has a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences and Minor in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler. He is committed to professionalism and having attained the competency to become a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with the State of Texas, he strives for Excellence. Throughout his career he has counseled hundreds of people addicted to drugs/alcohol, and co-occurring disorders. He is experienced with Individual, Group, and Family Drug Counseling, including CPS cases, Probation, DWI, ISF Parole, and SAFP Therapeutic Community Programs.
David is motivated by a desire to bring hope to people suffering from the seemingly hopeless situations that addiction presents. Having overcome many hardships himself, he has shown amazing resilience in overcoming his life challenges. He uses his unique experience to better understand and help his clients obtain success. David is married to Gilda Haley and has 3 adult sons, and 3 adult step-daughters who he loves spending quality time with. He believes that loving God with everything, and loving others as himself, is the key to his success.
